The philosophy of the FEPO is to:

1. Address the technology and innovation gap in Nigeria, Africa and other nations by training more students in the area.
2. Reduce the dependence on tech-products and services from other national economies.
3. Faculty and students own patents and licences for innovation.
4. Incubate and develop ideas, resources and manpower to drive national industrial development.

Our Objectives

The objectives of FEPO are to:

1. Harness knowledge, skills and capacity for excellent delivery of automated learning space for empowerment and development through a globally relevant curriculum.
2. Focus on quality and relevant research and innovation that are applicable to life by faculty and learners.
3. Internationalized tech-driven education and an eye on the global relevance of its products, their commitment to tech-entrepreneurship and profit in the next century and beyond for global impact.
4. Raise leaders of integrity to mitigate global challenges.
5. Build community strengths with local industry for consensus and proactive engagement for infrastructural development.
6. Constantly monitor, review and update the academic brief of FEPO for global competitiveness.
7. Maintain the security of life and property using proactive infrastructure and services.
8. Encourage Alumni role in academic and research activities to facilitate learning and development.
9. Increase the number of globally-relevant tech and innovation companies in Nigeria.
10. To develop a new generation of innovators that will drive a new economic advancement for Nigeria.

Our Strategies

In order to achieve the stated objectives, the Polytechnic administration will set up offices, units, departments and various committees. Staff orientation/induction, training and re-training will be given priority.
In addition, a monitoring and evaluation team will be set up by management to ensure that the academic brief and the master plan of the Polytechnic are implemented.
Financial resources for achieving the objectives will come from the following sources:
1. Subvention and budget from the Federal Government.
2. Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Interventions.
3. Internally generated revenue from students’ registration, commercial farming, consultancy services, sales of products and techniques to the public etc.
4. Endowments
5. Partnership with other organizations nationally and internationally.
